Domino drivers solidarity in Brighton
Domino's
delivery drivers in Australia have had their pay cut 19% overnight. As
their trade union was complicit in the cut, the drivers have formed a
new union, the General Transport Workers Association (GTWA), to fight
the pay cut. The GTWA called for a global day of action to support their
struggle, and SF members in Brighton were happy to respond to the call.
We spoke to staff about why we were there, giving them information on
workplace rights, and leafletted the general public with information on
Domino's attack on workers' conditions.
Solidarity
actions also happened across the UK and around the world, and are
continuing this weekend. The GTWA is affiliated with the
Anarcho-Syndicalist Federation (ASF), an Australian 'friend' of the
Solidarity Federation's international, the International Workers'
Association (IWA).
Domino's Pizza: explotación sin fronteras.
La
CNT-AIT de Salamanca, en solidaridad con su homónima australiana
ASF-AIT, ha emprendido una campaña de información y denuncia acerca de
la situación de los trabajadores de Domino's Pizza en Australia.
En
concreto la categoría afectada es la de los repartidores, que han visto
reducido su sueldo hasta un 19%, como resultado de la nula
predisposición de la empresa a llegar a un acuerdo con los trabajadores
en materia salarial; y todo esto con la complicidad de la SDA (el
"sindicato" mayoritario del sector, de tendencia católica y de
derechas).

Saudamos
todos aqueles e aquelas que se recusam a continuar a assistir em
silêncio a este ataque interminável contra as nossas condições de
existência e se dispõem a lutar.
Repudiamos absolutamente mais esta ofensiva, anunciada um mês depois de mais uma pirueta cínica da lei laboral, feita, como todas as anteriores, com o propósito único de nos enfraquecer e roubar.
Não podemos continuar a aceitar passivamente o nosso empobrecimento, para que uma pequena elite continue a ter lucros fabulosos. Apesar de nos apresentarem estas medidas de austeridade como inevitáveis, é possível pôr o pé no travão e dizer basta!

Op
zaterdag 15 september heeft de Amsterdamse afdeling van de ASB uit
solidariteit geflyerd voor een filiaal van Domino’s Pizza. In Australië
heeft Domino’s Pizza het salaris van de koeriers van de ene op de andere
dag met 19% verlaagt! Domino’s Pizza wilt terug naar de CAO van 2001
ondanks dat er in 2009 besprekingen geweest zijn tussen de vakbond van
de koeriers en Domino’s. Deze besprekingen hebben geleid tot een
loonsverhoging ten opzichte van 2001.
Sinds April 2012 heeft Domino’s het salaris
van deze werknemers weer verlaagt naar het niveau van 2001. Dit wordt
niet geaccepteerd door de Australische koeriers van Domino’s. Deze
koeriers hebben zichzelf georganiseerd in hun eigen vakbond, de GTWA. De
GTWA is aangesloten bij de Australische afdeling van de Internationale
Arbeiders Associatie (IAA).
Międzynarodowy Dzień Solidarności z Kierowcami Dominos Pizza
5 września miał miejsce międzynarodowy dzień
solidarności z kierowcami Dominos Pizza zrzeszonymi w związku GTWA
(część Federacji Anarchosyndykalistycznej, ASF-IWA). Dzień można uznać
za udany ponieważ akcje odbyły się w co najmniej 35 miastach w krajach
takich jak Stany Zjednoczone, Wielka Brytania, Holandia, Francja,
Hiszpania, Niemcy, Rosja, Norwegia, Brazylia i Australia.
Solidarity with the Dominos Pizza Drivers (GTWA, ASF-IWA)
September 15 was an international day of
action with Dominos pizza drivers from GTWA in Australia (affiliated to
the AnarchoSyndicalist Federation). The drivers' had their salaries
slashed by 19% and decided to fight back, demanding, among other things,
reinstatement of their wages.
Although all the reports are not in, we know
that various types of actions occurred in about 35 cities across the
globe. The actions ranged from informational pickets to stickers,
posters and banners being put on the restaurants.
Australian Dominos Drivers: Bristol Solidarity Federation Action
Anarcho-Syndicalist
Federation’s (Australia), call for action, saw Bristol SF picket the
Dominos store on Whiteladies Road, Bristol. This solidarity action was
in support of the campaign for wage justice for delivery drivers who
have had their wages cut 19% arbitrarily by Domino's Pizza Enterprises
management.
The
Bristol Local members held the red and Black banner across the store's
door and handed out leaflets to passers-by. We had taken time to explain
to the workers inside the store the reasons for our solidarity action
and gave them a copy of our leaflet. Our anger is against profiteers who
steal from workers not other workers.
Solent Solfed picket Domino’s Southampton
Members of Solent local of the Solidarity Federation picketed Domino’s pizza in Bitterne Southampton as part of theInternational Day of Action in
support of Australian delivery drivers of the General Transport
Workers Association. Some interesting conversations were had with staff
and public.
A communications blockade will follow on Monday 17th.

Protest bei Domino’s Pizza in Köln
Anlässlich
des Aktionstages der Internationalen Arbeiter/innen-Assoziation (IAA)
hat das Allgemeine Syndikat Köln bei der Franchise-Kette Domino’s Pizza
gegen Lohnkürzungen protestiert. Auch in anderen Städten der Region, wie
Langenfeld und Bonn, hat die anarchosyndikalistische Freie
Arbeiter/innen-Union ebenfalls Solidaritätsaktionen organisiert.
Кампания CNT против спасения банков
13 и 14 сентября 2012 г. испанские анархо-синдикалисты организовали во
многих городах страны акции протеста в рамках кампании против спасения
банков за общественный счет.
В Барселоне профсоюзы CNT из столицы Каталонии и Корнельи
собрались у зданий банков на Каррер-де-Сантс. У входа в каждый банк
проводился митинг. Выступавшие разъясняли, что спасение банков за
общественный счет – это грабеж трудящегося класса, который платит за это
урезанием социальной сферы и утратой прав.
